when and why did you start to make spectrum music?

i started composing in 1996, i just had a feeling that i can make it, that's all.

i suppose, the first technical experience you gained exploring someone's tunes for samples, ornaments and other tricks. who was that spectrum musician who influenced your music and whom you can call your teacher?

i had no certain teacher, i just listened to such musicians as fatal snipe, never, siril, sergant.

what was the first music editor that you used?

i began with wham48, i had "leningrad" at that time. along with moran we made a few remixes of our tracks using tape recorder. it was fun. then, after army, in 2000 i bought a pentagon 128 and began to use pt 3.x.

what was the first music editor that you used?

then i had a bit more serious attitude to music than now.

how do you think, do you have any fans, and what do you think they particularly like in your music? would you like to say some words for them?

i think i have no fans, though guys from pos asked me to make a track for their demo; mylitia just put my track in their demo without any permission, they said about it only when it was finished.

what musical instruments do you use (if you ever used) during composing prosess? do you have any experience of musicmaking on other platforms? what do you think about it?

i've never used such, though i used to play with my electro-organ. anyway, it was the beginning.

now i began to compose popsy tracks using pc and fruity loops. i admit, that i became too popsy, though i long to make music in my old heavy style on pc.

what musical instruments do you use (if you ever used) during composing prosess? do you have any experience of musicmaking on other platforms? what do you think about it?

if i had a strong desire to make something i usually succeed. however, the weakest spot is idleness.

what kind of music do you listen, what bands/projects affect you, what moods and feelings you try to put in your own compositions? remixes: what do you think of this?

in mid 90-ies moran pushed me towards electronic music: techno, trance, rave. among them are midi control, marusha, mark^on, ux, blue planet corporation.

feelings? i'm overfilled with emotions while composing something :) i can make remixes, i even have one, but i like to make my own music more.

what music compos did you participate in, what was the highest rate and what do you think about your achievements?

i attended forever, cc, cafe (this year i personally visited this party for the first time), millennium. and at millennium'1902 i took the second place. i guess people just liked that track.

what do you feel when your track is playing on a party? are you concerned with sound equipment, people that vote or it doesn't bother you much?

i didn't like that volume was too low at cafe, because i used to listen music very loud and with very deep low frequences. i think, this time cafe organizers had a bad attitude to all of spectrum compos and sound sucked (and pc was all right, though).

do you have any interesting ideas about the future of spectrum music? maybe there are some hardware or software innovations that you would like to have?

ay sound is enough to make good music. i think that there's a vital need to develop music editors to make the technical process more convinient and sound better. alco pushes pt forward, i'm glad for it, thanks alco!

what is the most interesting aspect in spectrum music composing for you - to perfect your skills within the bounds of one 'style' or 'genre', or to continue the thorny path of experiments with sound and techniques?

both.

can you tell us some your original ideas that you want to realize in your music, maybe you want to make a demo or a game soundtrack, maybe just to try what you have never tried yet, the new field of applying your talent?

currently, i have no ideas. though, c-jeff proposed me to take part in a project and i acceded.

what do you think about co-operative composing, is it interesting for you, whom would you like to make music with? please name 3 authors among the contemporary spectrum musicians that you like most.

as i said before, i'm gonna co-operate with c-jeff. nik-o, c-jeff, miguel.

can you say some words of advise for those musicians who are just starting out?

i'm a beginner by myself :)
